Managed to get away from work in time to get to Bigbury for 3.30, just enough time to get an hour on the water. A few of the guys were out on 4.5s but a bit underpowered so I was tempted to go 5.2 but the squalls dictated smaller. First run out I planed past a few people wallowing on small kit but the tide meant that we were in the lee of Burgh Island. A few big jumps and I reached the big scary stuff, gybed and headed back but every thing seemed wrong. The chop and swirling currents were all over the placed and the board seemed to get randomly flipped over so it wasn't easy sailing.

Overall a good and unexpected sail for the short period of time I got on the water. Can't be too choosy this time of the year.
